Generous Listening Training

 Listening is the foundation of all communication.

In this one-day training, you will have the opportunity to notice your listening in a new way, to identify what competes with your intention to listen well, to become aware of your listening filters, and to revamp your listening to support your vision for life and relationships. This training is designed for any person committed to producing results through communication with others.

Listening is about your filters, and in this training, you will come to understand more about what you listen for and how to shift to more resourceful perspectives. When you begin to truly listen to others, your life will be transformed and possibly each of your relationships. It’s fairly easy for us to notice when someone else has misunderstood us, but how often do we notice our own listening and what we might or do miss? Throughout the day we will engage in experiential exercises and conversation set-up to “train” your listening so that you can experience immediate results in your communications with others.

Some Key Objectives:

1. Become aware of your listening so you can choose new ways of communicating.

2. Learn to engage with others and ask questions that will open the way to a more creative and constructive conversation.

3. Become aware of what gets in the way of your listening and the impact this is having on relationships and life.
